Hazel′s Story

Hey there! I'm Hazel, and yes, I know I'm gorgeous! I was even cuter as a puppy, or at least that's what my previous family thought. I was given as a gift to them, but as I grew, they seemed to lose interest. Suddenly, there was no time to play, no time for training or teaching. The youngster got bored, and they decided to chain me up on a tree. A very, very short chain. My life became that tree, a bowl of food, and water. Nothing more. Isolated from humanity, I never had the chance to meet other dogs and socialize.

Character & Temperament

I am very comfortable around humans, enjoying cuddles, games and attention.

On the lead, I'm well-behaved, and my intelligence shines through as I easily grasp basic cues.

However, lacking interaction with other dogs, I can be reactive.

Ideal Home for Hazel

I would thrive in a calm environment without other dogs or cats.

I'm seeking a dedicated person, preferably with kids older than 15, to help me overcome this issue.

Beyond that, I can be your best friend.
