Goldie′s Story

My name is Goldie, and sadly, my story is just one of many here in Cyprus. I was abandoned while pregnant and did my best to care for my four pups. We found shelter on a university campus, scavenging for food from dumpsters. But despite my efforts, life was hard, and eventually, we were caught and taken to the pound. Heartbreakingly, two of my babies didn’t make it. That’s when 2nd Chance Dogs stepped in and saved us, giving us hope for a better future.

Character & Temperament

I’m a bit shy and nervous around humans, but I’m slowly learning to trust them and open up. With plenty of patience, love, and, of course, treats, I know I’ll soon be ready to show my true, playful self!

Ideal Home for Goldie

My potential new family needs to understand that I didn’t have much proper human interaction while growing up, so I need time, lots of reassurance, and, of course, patience. A calm, peaceful environment without too much happening would help me come out of my shell. If you’re ready to truly help a dog like me, teach me how to be a dog, and show me the joys of life, then apply to adopt me! I promise, with your love and support, I’ll blossom.
