River′s Story

When my guardian moved out of the country, I was left behind in our apartment complex. Thankfully, a kind neighbor took me in, but due to her own serious health issues, she wasn’t able to give me the life I truly deserved. That’s when she reached out to 2nd Chance Dogs, and they welcomed me into their care.

Character & Temperament

I’m your happy-go-lucky pup, always excited to be around humans, kids, and other dogs. I love my walks, and I’m a pro on the leash. Plus, I’m fully toilet trained! Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, I’m always ready to brighten your day with my wagging tail and endless affection.

Ideal Home for River

My ideal home would be with a loving family who enjoys spending time with me, whether it's for walks, playtime, or just hanging out. I grew up in a home environment, so I’m used to being indoors, surrounded by love and care. Being in the shelter is tough for me, and I urgently need to get back into a home where I can thrive. I get along great with kids and other dogs, so a lively family would be perfect. If you’re looking for a friendly, house-trained, and affectionate companion, I’m your pup!
