Marko′s Story

Hi, I’m Marco! I was rescued from the streets in January 2024 when I was in pretty rough shape. But thanks to some love and treatment for leishmania, I’m now feeling great and thriving! When my shelter had to close down, 2nd Chance Dogs stepped in and gave me a safe and loving place to stay. Now, I’m just waiting for my forever family to find me!

Character & Temperament

I am a super friendly boy who absolutely loves people and playing with other dogs! I have a fun, playful side—I’m great at digging holes in the yard and love snoozing on the trampoline (if you have one) after a good play session. I have so much love to give, and whoever adopts me is in for a real treat!

Ideal Home for Marko

My ideal home is one where I’m surrounded by love, playtime, and plenty of fun! I adore people and other dogs, so a family that enjoys spending time with me would be perfect. A yard to explore (and maybe dig a few holes in!) would be amazing, but as long as I have love and attention, I’ll be happy. A comfy spot for naps—like a trampoline or a cozy bed—would make my day even better! If you’re looking for a friendly, playful, and loving companion, I’d love to be part of your family!
