Charls′s Story

Hi, I’m Charls! I spent over six months exploring the streets of Paphos, showing off my intelligence and cautious nature. It took a little while for them to catch me, but I finally joined the shelter in August 2023. When that shelter had to close down, 2nd Chance Dogs stepped in, giving me the care and security I needed.

Character & Temperament

I get along great with other dogs, but I’m not a big fan of bigger males. I love digging holes and exploring my surroundings, so having a safe and secure garden would be perfect for me. I can get a little jumpy and excitable, especially when I’m around people I know and like. If there are younger kids around, I might need a bit of supervision because I sometimes forget how big I am! But with some guidance, I’ll be a great, fun-loving companion.

Ideal Home for Charls

My ideal home is one with a secure, spacious garden where I can dig and explore safely. I’d love a family who’s active and enjoys spending time with me—whether it’s playtime, walks, or just cuddling. I get along well with other dogs, but I’d prefer a calm, friendly companion over bigger males. If there are younger kids, I’d need some supervision as I can sometimes forget my own size. What matters most is a loving, patient family who understands me and can give me the attention I need to thrive!
