Jeffrey′s Story

Hello, I'm Jeffrey!

I found myself wandering the fields, and unfortunately, I ended up in the middle of a road, narrowly escaping being run over by cars not once, but three times. I was in a complete panic, running up and down the road frantically. That's when the amazing and heroic 2nd Chance Dogs volunteer appeared and saved me! She opened the car door, and I jumped in like the good boy that I am!

Sometime after I was saved, I suffered nerve damage on my spine, leading to the necessity of spinal surgery. The procedure was crucial for me to regain the ability to walk. After the surgery, the long journey of recovery began. Now, I am fully recovered and back on my paws, ready to conquer the world with the human who will give me a forever home.

Character & Temperament

I am still a bit wobbly after the operation, but perfectly healthy and bouncy.

I am a sweet boy, loving and cuddling, and I seek out human attention.

I especially like to follow my humans around. I already know basic cues and am good on the lead.

Ideal Home for Jeffrey

I would fit perfectly into an active home that can provide the exercise I need. I particularly enjoy activities, and I love water as well. Due to my size and bouncy nature, I would prefer a home with adults only.
