I was just a tiny pup when municipality workers found me abandoned and brought me to the pound. I waited there for months, hoping for a better future. Then, my luck changed—2nd Chance Dogs found space for me and welcomed me into their care. Now, I'm ready for a fresh start and a loving home!

Character & Temperament

I’m a shy little pup because I didn’t have much interaction with humans early on. The world still feels a bit big and new to me, but I’m learning every day! I feel safest when I’m around other confident dogs—I love following them, watching how they interact, and taking comfort in their presence. With a little patience, love, and the right furry friends to show me the way, I know I’ll come out of my shell in no time!

Ideal Home for Amari

My ideal home is with patient, experienced humans who understand timid dogs like me. I need a calm, predictable environment where I can build trust at my own pace, without pressure. A child-free home would be best, as sudden movements and loud noises can make me uneasy. I’d love a family that respects my need for space and gives me the time I need to feel safe. A calm environment with a friendly, confident dog would be perfect—I love following their lead and learning from them!
