Chester′s Story

My name is Chester. A volunteer spotted me while I was rummaging through a garbage bin in search of food. When she tried to approach me, I got scared and ran to hide under a container. She quickly called for backup, and another volunteer arrived in no time. After several hours of crawling under the container and tempting me with delicious snacks, they finally managed to catch me.

Character & Temperament

I’m a shy tiny pup bursting with life and love! I adore playing with other dogs and kids, always eager to make new friends. My favorite game is chasing—whether it’s a ball, a leaf blowing in the wind, or just my furry buddies zooming around. I can run for hours, my tail wagging with pure excitement. Despite my rough start, I’ve discovered that life is full of fun, love, and plenty of playtime!

Ideal Home for Chester

My dream home is one filled with love, laughter, and plenty of playtime! I’d love a family—big or small—who will shower me with cuddles and include me in all their adventures. A home with other dogs or kids would be amazing because I love having playmates to chase and wrestle with! A safe yard to zoom around in would be a bonus, but as long as we go on fun walks and have plenty of play sessions, I’ll be the happiest pup ever.

I can be a little shy at first, so I need someone patient and kind who will give me the time and understanding I need to feel safe. I also love to chew, so having plenty of appropriate chew toys (and maybe some supervision) will help me stay happy and out of trouble. I had a rough start, but I’m ready to give my whole heart in return to the right person or family who will love me just as I am!
