Amber′s Story

I was rescued from the middle of nowhere along with my 2 siblings and mum and taken to a shelter. After some time there, our rescuer had to find us a new home because the shelter was closing down. That’s when 2nd Chance Dogs stepped in, opening their hearts and home to us.

Character & Temperament

Although I’m a nervous and shy around people, I’m full of love and just need time and space to feel safe. Around other dogs, I let loose and have so much fun—I love to play, chase, and run! If you’re patient with me, I’ll slowly show you my true colors, and you’ll see what a sweet, affectionate, and loyal pup I really am. Once I trust you, I’ll be your shadow, always by your side, ready for cuddles, belly rubs, and all the love you can give. With a kind heart and a little patience, you’ll get to see the happy, playful, and loving dog I was meant to be!

Ideal Home for Amber

My ideal home is with patient, experienced humans who understand timid dogs like me. I need a calm, predictable environment where I can build trust at my own pace, without pressure. A child-free home would be best, as sudden movements and loud noises can make me uneasy. I’d love a family that respects my need for space and gives me the time I need to feel safe. A calm environment with a friendly, confident dog would be perfect—I love following their lead and learning from them!
